SIRV Caransebe\u0219 SA was established in 1950 under the ownership of Romanian Railways and has been involved in railway rolling stock repair works, especially freight wagons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the restructuring of CFR in 1998, SIRV Caransebe\u0219 SA became part of the National Railway Passenger Transport Company &#8222;CFR C\u0102L\u0102TORI&#8221; SA, with full state capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2003, SIRV Caransebe\u0219 SA was privatized, taking on its current name and becoming fully privately owned.
