The repair of KE brake distributors is carried out in a dedicated workshop specialized for this purpose. Genuine spare parts from authorized AFER suppliers are used for the repair of distributors. The functionality of the distributors is verified before and after repair using controlled and registered stands, which are subject to certification by AFER.
Additionally, there is a verification/repair of air reservoirs, brake cylinders, valves, and air semi-couplers, brake linkage under the wagon, air conduits; all individually repaired brake subassemblies are reassembled onto the wagon and rechecked for final brake testing.
